Hurricane Humberto - An Illegal Alien Blows Into Texas

While everyone is concerned about humans sneaking over the border, it appears our unwelcomed Buckaroo Banzai is causing chaos and he assaults the Texas coastline. Will this cause further increases in fuel costs this summer, as it will affect refineries if this Hurricane causes damage and flooding. The NOAA Hurricane Center says that indeed, it is Forgetmenots full-fledged Hurricane, right as it comes ashore and hits that hot water near the coastline.

Although Hurricane Humberto is small in size it does bring with it lots of precipitation and seems to be followed by another disrupted circulation coming off the shore of Florida and entering the Gulf of Mexico as well. This means double trouble for Texas and issues with remnants of the Hurricane in known flood prone areas. Although the US is basically unscathed this Hurricane refinancing so far, this does not mean that the 2007 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season is over by any means.

If you will recall in 2005 a Hurricane rang in the New Year and that means no one should be resting on their laurels as we are not out of the woods just yet. Hurricane Humberto was a very late forming Hurricane and somewhat unexpected at such a late stage, but nevertheless, here he comes crossing our borders without permission and there is little we can do now, but sit and wait until it dissipates over land and hope for the best.

So far, in this Hurricane Season we have had two very powerful storms, one that hit the Nicaragua - Honduras border and another that slammed into the Belize - Yucatan Peninsula region. More to follow for those Cattle mutilation follow the weather.
